Monsoon Drift: India

Arcade Rally · The Monsoon Run

How to play Monsoon Drift: India

A desktop keyboard or a game controller and a WebGL-capable browser are required. Choose Time Trial to chase your fastest time or Drift Challenge to build a drift score, then select Start Your Engine. Drive the 2.8 km Monsoon Run through the Western Ghats and pass all nine blue checkpoint arches in order.

Hold W or Up to accelerate. Use S or Down to brake, then reverse. A or Left steers left; D or Right steers right. Slow down before yellow hairpin signs, steer into the bend, and tap Space for a handbrake slide. Release Space to recover grip. In Drift Challenge, link controlled slides to build a combo; hitting a barrier breaks it.

Hold Shift for boost on straights; it recharges when released. Press R if stuck to return safely to your last checkpoint with a three-second penalty. C cycles Chase, Hood and Cinematic cameras. P or Escape pauses; M toggles sound. Use the Sound and Fullscreen buttons above or inside the game. Lower Graphics in the garage or pause menu if needed; the game also lowers its resolution by itself if frames drop.

With an Xbox or PlayStation controller: steer with the left stick or d-pad, RT to accelerate, LT to brake, A for the handbrake, X or RB to boost, Y for cameras, View to reset and Start to begin or pause. Supported controllers rumble on impacts and slides.

Cross the finish after all nine checkpoints to save your best time or score in this browser. Records stay on your device. This is a single-player stage; touch driving is not supported.

The rain forest along the road uses the same ez-tree trees as Escape the Forest, with full-detail trees near the car and lighter versions further away to keep the frame rate smooth.
