How to play MARS: HELLFALL

A desktop keyboard, a mouse and a WebGL 2 browser are required. Choose Play and click the game to capture the mouse. Move with WASD, aim with the mouse and hold the left button to fire. Shift sprints, Space jumps, Ctrl or C crouches (slide at sprint speed), Q dashes, and R reloads. Esc or P pauses and frees the mouse; M mutes.

It is the year 2187 on the ARES-9 mining colony, and the aliens never stop coming. Crawlers arrive first, then Brutes, flying Drones and acid Spitters, burrowing up around you as the threat level rises every minute. A Titan attacks every five minutes. Magazines refill, so you never run out of ammunition; health and shield drops, three supply points and a health bonus every 50 kills keep you going. Stay clear of the lava fissure.

Your weapon evolves on its own at 25, 75, 150, 300 and 500 kills: assault rifle, twin SMGs, shotgun, minigun, plasma and the Annihilator, which keeps gaining overdrive levels after that. Press 1–6 to switch back to any weapon you have unlocked. Headshots score 50% more, and quick kills build a chain multiplier up to ×5. How long can you survive?
